We’re updating our Business Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

At Pinterest, we regularly update our terms and policies to reflect how Pinterest serves its users. We want to share some updates we're making to our Business Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other policies, effective April 30, 2025.

We've made changes to our Business Terms of Service for clarity and to address new product features and European laws. We've also updated our Privacy Policy to provide more information on how we train the models that support our products and services including those using generative artificial intelligence, how long we retain your information, and changes to our international data transfer mechanisms. Additionally, if you're outside of the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, we've outlined how we may share data with partners to allow advertisers to reach you on other websites and apps.

To control how we share your data, please visit your Privacy and Data Settings. By continuing to use Pinterest and its other services after the effective date, you confirm that you have agreed to our updated Business Terms of Service and reviewed our Privacy Policy.

We’re updating some of our policies

We want to keep you informed about some updates we're making to our current Privacy Policy, Terms of Service ("Terms"), and a few other policies.

We're updating these Terms and Policies to make them easier to understand and to address some new laws in Europe. You can preview the new Privacy Policy, Terms, and our other policies before they become effective on August 1, 2023. By continuing to use Pinterest and its other services after the effective date, you accept these new Terms.

Notice to Advertisers: Pinterest is Incorporating a Joint Controller Addendum

We're updating our Pinterest Advertising Services Agreement (PASA). Amongst other changes, we are incorporating a Joint Controller Addendum, which clarifies the responsibilities of Pinterest Europe Limited and our advertisers in relation to personal data subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including as it applies in the UK. The Joint Controller Addendum can be found in Exhibit B of the PASA.

These changes will come into effect from February 13, 2023.

We recommend that all advertisers processing this personal data review these changes and update their privacy policies to reflect them.
